I wish I could give this place 10 stars! We were traveling from East London and my car kept cutting out in not so safe places. Arrived in PE after much stress and we were recommended to Finn Auto, explained the situation and the following day, my car was sorted. Drive back to East London all safe and sound. Thank you Finn Auto.

Husband booked my car either under his name or my new surname. * We paid the quoted amount in full, but were unexpectedly charged extra on collection because the originally quoted parts were allegedly unavailable. This additional cost was never communicated beforehand. We refused to pay as this was not our problem. * After the repair, my wheel locknut was missing. Finn Auto provided inconsistent explanations, initially claiming the wheels had not been removed (for replacement of shocks!) and later suggesting the locknut was placed by the spare wheel (which my BMW does not have). The lock nut then mysteriously and magically reappeared (in a place multiple people search) after the issue was raised and my car brought back for Finn Auto to search for it themselves. * Less than six weeks after all four shocks were replaced, another workshop discovered that one of the newly fitted shocks was already leaking oil. It has been replaced since. But honestly the whole experience was terrible.

My car had an oil leak, so I took it to Finn Auto Repairs in March 2026. They advise me that the oil housing has a crack and it needs to be replaced. I gave them the go-ahead to replace the oil housing with its oil cooler and requested the old parts. When I received the old part, I asked them to show me the crack, but there was no crack. I took the car and drove it for a month, then I noticed that the coolant was mixing with oil. I took it back to them in April 2026, and I was advised that it needs a coolant flush. I mentioned to them that the issue is within the oil cooler. To cut a long story short, they flushed the coolant that had oil, they didn't consider what I was saying about the faulty oil housing with the oil cooler they installed in the car, and gave me the vehicle with a dirty coolant container that had oil. I drove the car to my place. When I get home, the coolant has oil; it was mixing again. I flushed the coolant, washed the container, put it back, test drove the car, and the coolant was still mixed with oil. This is a very poor service I received from this place. Paying them a lot of money to cause a worse issue than I had in my vehicle, and they don't want to listen to my side of the story; they do what they please in my car. In all of these ups and downs, they told me there are no available dates today (6th May), so I had to book a date while the issue was their return Job. I'm still waiting for their call, when I chase, they say they will get back to me, I've asked for their supervisor and the service advisor told me they don't have a supervisor or manager. I've attached the pictures. Editing this review, after Finn Auto Repairs comment. Yes, I agree you've done diligence after my complaints, and after seeing this review. However, your work is appreciated.

Took our car to this place for turbocharger..Feb 2026 Car was there for awhile..The day i got the car back i phoned them and told them the car was OVERHEATING..(DO HAVE THAT EMAIL FROM THEM).. Since that day the waterbottle was a problem and the heat cause the cap to melt and brake of inside the waterbottle.. (THEY BLAME ME FOR THE CAP THAT GOT DAMAGED ) THEY TOLD ME THE SISTEM WAS FLUSHED AND NO PROBLEM WAS PICKED UP BY THE MECHANIC.. (CAR WAS THERE A FEW TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM) Everytime we had to pay for tow truck.. Long story short... I took the car for pressure and chemical test and then the results show the head and head gasket is blown.. THE CAR NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM OF THE WATERBOTTLE BEFORE BOOKING AT FINNS AUTO REPAIRS.. THE PEOPLE THERE WAS SO RUDE ..LUCKILY I CALL THAT MECHANIC TO CHECK THE OIL AND THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE CAR.. AFTER HE TOLD ME HE TOOK THE CAR TWICE TO BLUEWATER BAY .(THAT DAY) THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME OIL AND TOLD ME I CAN BUY OIL FROM THE GARAGE NEXT TO THEM.. THE OWNER ALSO TOLD ME I AM NOT ALOUD TO BRING THE CAR BACK TO THE WORKSHOP AGAIN.. NOW ITS GONA COST US MORE THAN R20K ... BAD EXPERIENCE ‼️‼️
