Shopstar is a fantastic online shop platform for small businesses and startups. It is user-friendly, practical, and makes setting up an online store much easier, even if you’re not an experienced website developer. The support has been excellent, and the YouTube videos are particularly helpful, providing clear, practical guidance throughout the setup process.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) I chose Shopstar for my business, RSA Solar Supplier, because I wanted a South African e-commerce platform that could handle online sales, courier integrations, and website hosting in one place. The platform has a lot of potential and some good features, but my experience has been frustrating at times. I've experienced issues with third-party widget integrations, including difficulties getting Elfsight widgets to display correctly on my website. I've also had challenges with integrations and configuration settings that took longer than expected to resolve. While the support team is generally friendly and professional, some technical issues have remained unresolved for extended periods, and communication regarding progress from the development team could be improved. As a business owner trying to launch and maintain an online store, delays like these can have a direct impact on sales and customer experience. That said, when support does engage, they are willing to help, and the platform itself is easy to use for basic store management. I believe Shopstar has the potential to be an excellent South African e-commerce solution, but improvements in technical support response times, issue resolution, and integration flexibility would make a significant difference. I hope these areas continue to improve because I would like to see the platform succeed.
